Local police and fire softball teams compete for a great cause

The Battle of the Badges is a fun-filled day featuring co-ed softball games between police and firefighters from the greater Portland metro area. We are currently seeking teams for this exciting event. Police, firefighters and their family members are eligible to play in our August 27th fundraiser. All proceeds go to provide after-rescue care, in a safe and secure shelter, for underage victims of sexual trafficking. Have fun while supporting an important cause. Sign up now!

Hillsboro's Gordon Faber Recreation Complex is the site for this exciting sports event

Who will win? The police or the firefighters? Find out by attending this exciting double elimination softball tournament at the Hillsboro Stadium. The day will be filled with family fun, including booths, concessions, raffle, a silent auction, music, kid's events, and even a dunk tank! Get your face painted, enjoy a hot dog, cheer for your favorite team, and dunk a fire chief or police chief in a tank full of water, all while helping others.

Soroptimist is an international volunteer service organization of business and professional women whose mission is to improve the lives of women and girls, locally and globally.

Soroptimists work within their communities, their regions, their federations and with other Soroptimists around the globe to provide programs and services in the areas of Domestic Violence, Cancer Awareness, Literacy, Trafficking of Women, and much more.
